Alexandrite, purple

Alexandrite is a gemstone with a rather unique property: it will look to be different colors depending on the type of light that it is in. That's why we've created 3 different colors to represent Alexandrite for the June Yorkshire Yarn Fest!

Description

Purple Alexandrite occurs in day light. Our version has semi-solid light purple base with darker blue speckels to get those lovely nuances. Pair it together with the other shades of Alexandrite for a complementary set that works well for multi-color projects!

NOTE: The individual base pictures show all three colors, but the listing is only for the purple skeins.
